Linda Ngo is a full stack software developer for Tulip Retail and a data science research intern at the University of Guelph. She has worked as a developer since 2020, and has held roles as a junior systems developer intern at the Co-Operators and as a freelance web developer. Ngo is currently working on a project using R to develop Poisson regression models that determine the relationship between the use of Health Belief Model constructs and sentiment and engagement. She’s also using Python and scikit-learn to develop machine learning models to predict sentiment and engagement base don the Health Belief Model. Ngo is working toward a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of Guelph.
