Alan Simon

Alan Simon is data management and business intelligence consultant and principal lecturer for the information systems department at Arizona State University. He has been working in data management and software engineering roles since 1982, and has previously worked in leadership roles for Deloitte, Alliance Consulting and MicroStrategy. Simon also served as an adjunct professor at Carnegie Mellon University, where he taught a course on data warehousing.

In addition, Simon has authored 31 business and technology books, including DataWarehousing for Dummies, 90 Days to the Data Mart and How to be a Successful Computer Consultant. Simon also serves as an instructor at Udemy. He holds a master's degree in management information systems from the University of Arizona.
