You.com, a San Francisco-based AI company, recently announced $100 million in Series C funding. The round, spearheaded by investor Cox Enterprises, values You.com at $1.5 billion. The company provides developers and enterprises with over 1 billion deeply researched, AI-generated answers a month through its APIs.

You.com primarily focused on connecting LLMs to live web data with verifiable citations at the time of its founding in 2020. Since then, the company has evolved to provide AI infrastructure that encompasses enterprise features like zero data retention, a model-agnostic software solution and full access for agents into company and public data.

Serving developers and enterprises, You.com’s customer base includes innovators across the technology, e-commerce, financial services, media, manufacturing and hospitality sectors. The company offers composable infrastructure as well as design and development services for end-to-end AI apps tailored to organizations’ specific workflows.
