Workrise, a software company serving the energy sector, has readopted its initial name, officially rebranding to RigUp. The company, previously renamed Workrise in 2021, operates a source-to-pay solution designed to help energy companies better collaborate with their suppliers and operate more efficiently.

Since its founding in 2014, RigUp has built an extensive network of energy operators, vendors and skilled workers. Its platform encompasses tools for vendor management, staffing and payroll and bid management. The company strives to make energy production easier, safer and more efficient.

“This is more than just a name change, and bigger than a rebrand,” Xuan Yong, RigUp’s co-founder, wrote in a company blog post. “It’s a recommitment to the core strengths, expertise, relationships and values that have driven our success in serving the oil and gas industry from the very beginning.”
