Time flies by fast, especially when you’re having fun transforming your idea into a real business at Founder Institute (FI).
I am proud to announce that my company Eventbin.com and I graduated from FI yesterday and I am equally proud to say that Eventbin.com is now 11,000 member strong!
A big thank you to staff at 1871, JB Pritzker, Greg from MuchShelist, Jason our Director and all the mentors for their time and commitment to the founders at FI.
Having attented B-School and FI, I have learned that incubators are the way to go. Here's why:
1) After B-School most people look for jobs, whereas after FI you create jobs.
2) In B-School your assignments are not always relevant, whereas at FI ALL your assignments can be put to use either immediately or in the next 6-12 months.
3) You pay hundreds of thousands of dollars to graduate from B-School, whereas at FI for only $900 to learn everything that they teach you in B-School for 4 years in 4 months!
By incubators I mean Techstars, Excelerate Labs, Y Combinator, FI and other similar high quality startup accelerator programs.
