Simplex Trading Appoints New Chief Compliance Officer

Simplex Trading, a Chicago-based firm, announced the appointment of Dennis Kerlin as its new chief compliance officer. The proprietary market-making firm works with advanced technology and software to focus on market innovation, automation and data-driven analysis.

Kerlin joins the firm with over two decades of experience in options trading compliance. Prior to joining Simplex, Kerlin was chief compliance officer at Optiver, a multinational trading firm. In this role, Kerlin oversaw the broker-dealer’s compliance organization. At Simplex, Kerlin will leverage his deep regulatory knowledge and strategic insights to contribute to the firm’s ongoing growth.
