Shield Technology Partners, or STP for short, recently launched with more than $100 million in funding from Thrive Holdings and ZBS Partners. The AI-enabled managed IT service provider works to give local businesses access to national-scale resources as well as tech and operational expertise.

STP already has partnerships with IT services firms ClearFuze Networks, IronOrbit, Delval Technology Solutions and OneNet Global. Each of these firms’ founders will continue to operate their companies and oversee day-to-day operations while STP helps amplify the platforms they’ve already built. The fresh capital will allow STP to expand its partnership network.

“The engineering team at Thrive Holdings is working closely with STP’s partners to build and embed technology that delivers a seamless and personalized customer experience,” Anuj Mehndiratta of investor Thrive Capital said in a statement. “Equipped with smarter, context-rich tools, technicians can anticipate issues, act proactively and play a greater role in driving customer roadmaps.”
