Ready Plan Go, or RPG, recently announced $750,000 in pre-seed funding, according to reporting by Betakit. The company equips tax preparation accountants with an AI-powered back office solution that automates document collection, data entry and filing.

RPG also acquires the books of tax firms where accountants are either leaving the business or retiring, the Betakit article mentioned. Its software is designed to modernize the client bases of these firms through AI-driven solutions. The four-person company’s latest funding round will help it further this element of its business model by enabling it to purchase more business.

Additionally, RPG will invest in product development for its solution that leverages large language models to complete tasks with as much accuracy as possible.
