Sojern Joins Hospitality SaaS Platform RateGain Following Acquisition

The completed deal combines the two companies’ complementary strengths in hospitality marketing tech solutions.

Sojern, a San Francisco company offering AI-powered marketing solutions to the hospitality industry, was recently acquired by RateGain, an India-based SaaS platform serving the travel and hospitality sectors. The deal combines the companies’ complementary solutions to create a comprehensive AI-powered growth platform.

RateGain specializes in marketing technology, revenue optimization and distribution, processing electronic transactions, price points and travel intent data for 3,200 customers across more than 100 countries. Sojern will add demand generation and traveler engagement capabilities to RateGain’s offerings, including traveler insights, multichannel activation and optimization as well as a connected guest experience.

Following the transaction, Sojern will continue to operate independently under the RateGain umbrella. The companies will come to serve 13,000 customers spanning the Americas, Europe, Middle East and Africa and Asia Pacific. The combined entity will work to advance multichannel demand generation, helping companies achieve more accurate consumer targeting, pricing intelligence and improved traveler engagement at scale.
