Prophet Security, a company developing solutions for security operations centers, recently announced $30 million in Series A funding. The round was led by Accel and will help Prophet launch its agentic AI SOC platform.

The company’s software encompasses several AI-powered tools, including an SOC analyst to autonomously investigate alerts across an organization’s security stack, a threat hunter that identifies suspicious patterns across disparate systems and a detection advisor to improve detection coverage and reduce alert noise.

Prophet’s solution helps automate security teams’ investigative workload, reducing the amount of false positives they receive and granting analysts more time to focus on actual threats. Its agentic system can also help with training and onboarding new analysts.
