PrizePicks, a fantasy sports operator, announced the official opening of its newly expanded headquarters office in Atlanta. The facility, located in the Star Metals Building in Midtown, spans 33,000 square feet and will facilitate the creation of high-skill and high-wage jobs at PrizePicks.
Star Metals is a mixed-use development that aims to incorporate style and luxury. The district was inspired by West Midtown’s history and cultural resurgence and speaks to Atlanta’s future evolution. Similarly, PrizePicks is expanding its Atlanta headquarters location as it works to redefine mobile sports entertainment in the modern world.
PrizePicks held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new office on Thursday, December 12. The company aims to grow its workforce by 1,000 new roles over the next seven years, contributing $25 million to Georgia’s economy.
“Georgia continues to be a driver of tech growth and innovation, attracting innovative companies with its unique mix of talent and infrastructure,” Governor Brian Kemp, said in an April statement. “Today’s announcement is a reminder of our strength in both welcoming new projects as well as creating an atmosphere where existing businesses can expand and thrive. I look forward to seeing the impact of these thousand jobs on the Atlanta community.”
