Delhi-based deeptech startup PointAI, previously Try ND Buy, has secured ₹47 crore in a Pre-Series A funding round led by Yali Capital, Lip-Bu Tan and Tremis Capital to accelerate product development and expand market reach.

PointAI’s technology recreates an authentic in-store shopping experience for online consumers by enabling them to virtually try on outfits, mix and match looks and interact with a digital salesperson in real time. As reported by Business Standard on Thursday, the company states its system delivers media outputs in just a few seconds compared to the time typically required by traditional models.

“Our transformation from Try ND Buy to PointAI marks a new chapter in our journey to redefine how people experience products and services online. At PointAI, we are building next-generation, simulation-based AI models that deliver accuracy and speed enabling instant, hyper-realistic experiences that bridge the gap between physical and digital retail. Yali Capital’s investment reinforces our vision and fuels our mission to push the frontiers of AI and computer vision for the global e-commerce industry,” Nitin Vats, CEO of PointAI, said in a statement.
