It’s inevitable for any company to have what Outreach calls a sales execution gap — the measurement between how much revenue it could potentially earn and how much it actually pulls in. On a mission to help businesses close this distance, the Seattle-based company built a platform to help sales teams identify and commit to the best decisions. Now, it’s expanding its presence with a newly opened office in Atlanta.

Outreach works to help organizations achieve efficient and predictable revenue growth using AI- and machine learning-powered sales execution workflows. Its solution covers workflows from prospecting to deal management to forecasting. It encompasses sales engagement, revenue intelligence and revenue operations in a single platform.

“The platform supports sellers across the entire revenue cycle while learning from billions of sales actions that humans can’t process and capturing rich behavioral buyer data,” an Outreach spokesperson told Built In via email. “The insights it gathers provides managers and revenue leaders with greater visibility into pipelines and forecasts. For sales reps, it enables smarter customer engagement and informs the next best steps to close a deal.”

Its solution serves more than 5,300 companies, including names like Zoom, Adobe, Okta and DocuSign. In an effort to move closer to its plethora of southeastern customers, Outreach chose Atlanta’s West Midtown neighborhood for its new office location.

“From a business perspective, Atlanta is a bustling tech hub and a natural next step for our expansion. More than half of U.S. financial technology firms are based in the area, not to mention a growing startup presence. Diversity and inclusion is also a core value at Outreach, and we were drawn to the diversity of Atlanta,” the spokesperson said. “We’re excited by the tech talent flowing into the city from Georgia Tech, Emory [University], Georgia State [University] and numerous other Georgia campuses, including multiple HBCUs. The culture and talent really drove this expansion decision, and we made sure our office was representative of Atlanta.”

Located at 1055 Howell Mill Road, the office encopasses a range of features made to emphasize inclusivity, some of which include gender-inclusive single restrooms, size inclusive furniture and standing and seated height tables. Furniture in collaborative areas is mounted on casters so employees can easily customize the spaces, and the office features doors and appliances designed to accommodate individuals with dexterity impairments. It also includes private rooms dedicated to wellness and self-care as well as nursing new parents.

The space was designed by Office Creations, a women-led firm that Outreach partnered with alongside other diverse local vendors to create its new space. The company made use of sustainable and recycled materials wherever possible as well as turned to office planners and consultants to ensure that each aspect of the space would be inclusive and accessible for everyone.

“We are thrilled to be in Atlanta. Now, we can partner even more closely with our new and existing customers in the area,” Manny Medina, Outreach founder and CEO, said in a statement. “We are also dedicated to building the most diverse and inclusive company we can by working with vendors and building teams that reflect the populations of the locations in which we operate. Atlanta is a growing tech hub with a diverse trove of talent, and we’re excited to hire locally.”

Outreach is currently hiring across all departments in Atlanta to build a team that’s entirely local to the greater Atlanta Metro area, according to the company. Its initial hiring plans will focus on customer success and tech support before eventually extending into areas like finance. The company currently has 1,109 employees across all of its offices with plans to hire 200 team members in Atlanta.
