Artificial intelligence infrastructure provider Nscale has raised $155 million in Series A funding. Sandton Capital Partners led the funding round, which also saw contributions from Kestrel 0x1, Blue Sky Capital Managers Ltd and Florence Capital.
Nscale is a hyperscaler managing a growing portfolio of sustainable data centers that deliver infrastructure for high-performance computing and AI workloads. The company launched in May 2024 after securing $30 million in seed funding in December 2023.
Nscale has a private cloud platform already available and plans to launch its public cloud offering in early 2025. The new influx of capital is expected to fuel the company’s continued expansion in Europe and North America, according to a news release.
“With the support of our investors, we can now reach more customers globally with bespoke designed, sustainable and cost-effective AI infrastructure that unlocks new AI capabilities, products and services,” Nscale CEO Joshua Payne said in a statement.
