Mintifi has secured $180 million in Series E funding to expand its solutions for supply chain financing, according to a news release.
The announcement comes a little over a week after Prosus disclosed that it invested in Mintifi and another Mumbai-based fintech company. Prosus co-led the funding round alongside Teachers’ Venture Growth, the late-stage tech investment arm of Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan. Existing investor Premji Invest also participated.
Founded in 2017, Mintifi has grown to serve more than 100 Indian brands through a suite of solutions that streamline invoice reconciliation and other important business functions. With its new capital, the company says it will be able to further develop the capabilities of its supply chain financing platform in areas like domestic and overseas factoring.
“This round of financing will further help us in building cutting-edge tech solutions to deliver even more seamless, efficient solutions for our customers across B2B payments, financing and inventory management,” Mintifi Co-founder and CEO Anup Agarwal said in a statement.
