Michael McNally: The thing that makes Magna unique is the emphasis on innovation.
Darci Koenigsknecht: So, you have to think outside the box. And I kind of like that at this job because it makes everyday tasks completely different. You never know what you're going to work on.
Justin Sobecki: So for new hires, we allow them to speak their mind right away. Entry-level engineers and the co-ops get to really work on all aspects of the design. I really feel that their fresh ideas leads us to be more innovative over time.
Justin McCoy: I think everybody at Magna wants you to be your best, and the leadership definitely reflects that. I've been able to learn an incredible amount from the people above me and the people around me.
Michael McNally: And so this is a great place for early career engineers.
Justin McCoy: This facility, being brand new, we have state-of-the-art technology as well as equipment.
Darci Koenigsknecht: They have really great labs here. We have an electronics lab and an EMC lab that allow us to do testing that we might otherwise have to go out to a third-party facility to do.
Jenn Mazarka: To have these tools at our fingertips, we just have that ability to do what actually is just within the realms of our creativity to make one of the best products we can.
Michael McNally: It's definitely fun working on a product from the start all the way until it's launched and then you see it on the road inside vehicles.
Darci Koenigsknecht: An ideal candidate here at Magna would be...
Jenn Mazarka: ...somebody who’s ambitious, who wants to learn, who knows they will be learning every day for the rest of their lives.
Darci Koenigsknecht: We're all very open on this team and we will just teach you what you need to know.
Justin Sobecki: There's a lot of opportunities here at Magna, just in our mirrors facility, let alone if you expand that out to Magna in general.
Darci Koenigsknecht: We're always moving forward in something, so any day that we move forward, it's a good day.
