After launching Kauzu.Biz today at an event hosted by 40th Ward Alderman Patrick J. O’Connor, I’m tempted to have him write a blog post for us. Heck, he practically wrote this one during his speech.
What’s special about Kauzu.Biz? “It’s the kind of thing that will connect local businesses with local people, which has the effect of making local communities stronger.”
What’s so important about hiring staff who live nearby? “If you hire locally, your workforce is going to be a much happier workforce.”
What should Chicago chambers of commerce do? “Get your local businesses to look at this technology as a way for them to hire locally.”
Alderman O’Connor has been a fantastic supporter since the day we moved into his ward. We owe him a world of gratitude for everything he’s done, up to and including today’s terrific event.
