The Dallas-Fort Worth region is booming tech hub. Last year, several tech companies relocated their headquarters from places like California and Florida and now call the metro home, including BackBox and Likewize. And more companies are coming. Just last month Indian robotics company Addverb announced plans to move to Dallas and Techstars launched an accelerator program in Fort Worth.
The growing demand to live and work in DFW hasn’t gone unnoticed by Inc. magazine, either. The publication recently put together a regional list of the fastest-growing private companies in the country. Extended from the Inc. 5000 list, the Inc. Regionals identifies the fastest-growing companies within specific regions based on their percentage of revenue growth from 2018 to 2020.
This year, the Southwest region consisted of 141 companies, 39 of which are based in the Dallas metro. These local companies brought in $1.3 billion in revenue and added 3,854 new jobs to the region. The companies also had a median growth rate of 149 percent over the two-year time frame.
Read on to see which DFW tech companies ranked highest this year.
