
G2, a software marketplace, recently announced Eric Gilpin will join the company as Chief Revenue Officer. At G2, Gilpin will be responsible for all aspects of the company’s revenue generation, including global sales, customer success, enablement, partnerships and revenue operations.
Gilpin has more than 20 years of experience in scaling technology businesses. Prior to joining G2, he served as Chief Sales Officer at Upwork, where he led a global team of over 400 and helped take the company public. Gilpin also held a number of leadership positions at CareerBuilder before his time with UpWork. His experience building two-sided marketplaces and leading large teams will help G2 expand its business and drive revenue growth.
G2 is a platform that allows customers to share real-time software reviews. Headquartered in Chicago, G2 partners with companies of all sizes including Zoom, Adobe, HubSpot and Salesforce.
