Women Who Code Hacking Hangout, Sept. 11 at 6:30 p.m.

Join Women Who Code Austin for their monthly programming study group and networking meetup. Coders of all abilities are welcome and bringing a friend is encouraged. This event is intended for all women (trans and cis), trans men, and genderqueer folks who are interested in attending. Men are welcome as guests of members.

Inside the Minds of Brilliant Designers, Sept. 12 at 6:30 p.m.

General Assembly is hosting a panel featuring members of the City of Austin’s Design, Technology and Innovation Fellows to share what they are currently working on and details to how they design. Learn from experts who use design to solve real problems for real people and learn how user-centered design helps us build a smarter city.

Refresh Austin (Web Design & Development Meetup), Sept. 12 at 7 p.m.

Refresh Austin, a web design and developer meetup, will get together this Tuesday at The North Door. The organization consists of web professionals working together to foster new ideas and refresh the creative, technical and professional aspects of their trade. Every meetup begins with a "looking for work" or "looking to hire" open mic segment.

Accelerated Networking Event: 5 Key Steps To Boost Your Biz and Get More Clients, Sept. 13 at 11 a.m.

Megan Tull, an entrepreneur success strategist, will speak at this Wednesday’s eWomenNetwork’s accelerated networking event. The discussion will highlight how to attract a steady stream of ideal potential clients into your business consistently and learn how to present what you do in an authentic way.

3rd Austin Diversity Hackathon, Sept. 15 at 8:05 a.m.

Head to Capital Factory this Friday for the 3rd Austin Diversity Hackathon sponsored by Google Fiber and Bazaarvoice. This hackathon is a celebration of diversity. Anyone who supports diversity is welcome — no matter your level of technical knowledge. Participants are encouraged to look into open data or civic hacking projects available on Open Austin.
