The evening will end with networking opportunities to meet Galvanize alumni, area professionals and people who share an interest in exploring the possibilities unlocked by a path in data science.

How Artificial Intelligence (AI) is Impacting the Sales Industry, Jan. 11 at 6 p.m.

Tech Ranch will host a discussion on how artificial intelligence is transforming the sales industry and helping sales professionals find leads, engage with prospects and close more revenue. Sridhar Kamma, CEO and co-founder of Apposphere, will be the featured speaker. 

The Future of Lending with Brian Romanko, CTO of Earnest, Jan. 12 at 6 p.m.

Join Austin Fintech at the Capital Factory to discuss the future of lending with Brian Romanko, the CTO of Earnest. After a brief intro, Romanko will lead an open discussion, taking your questions. Prior to Earnest, Romanko founded Heyride, Austin’s first peer-to-peer ridesharing service, which was later acquired by Sidecar. He also founded BigBig Bomb, a mobile consultancy, and has held roles at Dell, frog design, and BedandBreakfast.com.

Girl Develop It: Intro to Responsive Web Design, Jan. 14 at 12 p.m.

Girl Develop It will host a two-day workshop at Dev Bootcamp, covering responsive design through examples, teaching the basics and digging deep into the technical sides of things. On the second day, the group will build a responsive page from the ground up. All attendees should have intermediate HTML and CSS knowledge and should have a laptop with HTML editing software installed. RSVP here.
