Independent hotel revenue platform DIAMO has raised $4 million in seed funding to accelerate product development and fuel global expansion. The round was led by Thayer Ventures and Inovia Capital, with participation from Avalon Capital Group and other investors.

According to a news release, DIAMO helps independent hotels boost revenue by unifying automated dynamic pricing, omnichannel digital marketing and a conversion-optimized website and booking engine in a single platform. The company says its technology can increase hotel revenue by an average of 35 percent.

As part of its product roadmap, DIAMO announced plans to launch an AI assistant called ANDI. Acting like a virtual revenue manager, ANDI will help hoteliers configure pricing strategies, launch ad campaigns and optimize distribution in real time — a solution aimed at smaller properties that may not have dedicated revenue management staff.

DIAMO primarily works with independent hotels that have fewer than 150 rooms, particularly those that are owner-operated or run by small teams.
