Darwinbox, a Hyderabad-based HR tech company, pulled in a $40 million round of funding from Teachers’ Venture Growth. The company plans to invest in fueling global expansion, particularly in its North American presence, as demand increases for modern HR stack solutions.

Darwinbox offers a suite of AI-powered tools for tasks like workforce management, payroll and expense tracking, talent acquisition, talent management and people analytics. The company serves more than 1,000 organizations across over 130 countries, aiming to help them drive efficiency, transform talent management and enhance the employee experience.

The company’s latest injection of funding follows its $140 million raise spearheaded by Partners Group and KKR in March. Since its entry into the North American market, Darwinbox has recorded triple year-over-year growth. The company also continues to expand its footprint in the MENA and Southeast Asia regions.
