Chicago-based Crafty has announced a strategic alliance with JLL to enhance workplace experiences.

The company says its partnership with JLL comes at a pivotal moment for workplace culture. According to a recent study from Gallup, 53 percent of U.S. employees now work under hybrid schedules as more employers require in-office time. This is driving an increased demand for enhanced office amenities, including food and beverage services.

In addition to the strategic partnership, the company has also secured an investment from JLL’s investment arm, JLL Spark Global Ventures. JLL Spark’s investment is part of Crafty’s latest $10 million funding round, which also saw participation from investors such as Transform Capital, Interplay, Greycroft, Tribeca Venture Partners, Manifold, Bluestein Ventures and Gaingels, bringing the company’s total funding to $26 million to date.

Crafty CEO Nathan Rosenstock said in a statement that “JLL Spark’s investment in Crafty is a powerful validation of our vision to transform workplace food and beverage programs. By joining forces with JLL, we’re eager to bring our innovative pantry solutions to their global network of leading workplaces.”

With this capital, Crafty plans to expand its services to key markets nationwide.
