BOOST (Building Opportunities for Original and Sustainable Thinking) is a community-driven platform for funding emerging innovations in Chicago's green economy.
Admission: $15 includes a complementary New Belgium beer ($4 thereafter), light appetizers courtesy of Native Foods and Sultans, and a vote for your favorite presenter, with all proceeds going to the BOOST funding pool given to winning Innovators

Here's how it works: The Delta Emerging Leaders have selected five BOOST finalists who now get to present at the live event. Event attendees, or Boosters, vote for their favorite proposals, and Innovators receiving the most votes are awarded a share of the night’s proceeds (>$3000 each) plus a package of in-kind resources tailored to their project.
Many talented Chicagoans are developing inspired green enterprises—often in their spare time, without sufficient resources to bring them to scale. That's where BOOST comes in: BOOST not only provides financial resources, it also creates a vehicle for young professionals to connect with and invest in these promising local ventures.
