Well, we have done it! Or at least step one. BTSocial has been nominated as a GBTA Business Traveler Innovation Awards finalist. Pretty cool you may say. In fact, it is. For our small start-up to be showcased with new innovative products from companies ranging from Avis Budget Group to Kayak, to Boeing, its kind of a big deal.
This year, Fast Company and GBTA will deliver the Business Traveler Innovation Awards at the 2012 GBTA Convention, taking place in Boston, July 22-25. We will be there as usual rubbing elbows with the industries well-to-do's and hopefully, with enough votes being showcased as a top innovation.
Top submissions will be featured at the convention on the Exposition floor. A panel of industry judges will hear presentations from featured innovators. The judges will determine GBTA’s 2012 Judges’ Choice Innovation of the Year. Both awards will be featured at Tuesday’s general session.
