Cencora Appoints 2 Executive Vice Presidents to Help Drive Growth

Francois Mandeville and Pawan Verma join to further Cencora’s M&A strategies and digital transformation.

Cencora, a company providing solutions to the pharmaceutical sector, appointed two executives to its leadership team. Francois Mandeville joins the company as EVP, strategy and mergers and acquisitions, and Pawan Verma joins as EVP, chief data and information officer.

Mandeville brings ample experience driving company growth through M&A strategies to Cencora. He most recently served as chief development officer at Johnson Controls. In his new capacity, Mandeville will oversee Cencora’s M&A and strategy execution. His goal will be to help the company invest in businesses that will bring new solutions to meet its customers’ needs.

Prior to joining Cencora, Verma was EVP and global chief information officer at MetLife where he helped the company modernize and transform its technology stack. Verma will help Cencora elevate its digital capabilities by overseeing its digital transformation efforts and driving innovation to improve operations. 

Cencora partners with pharmaceutical companies to help optimize worldwide access to therapies for people and animals. It delivers pharmaceuticals, healthcare products and solutions to care providers and has a global workforce of over 46,000 people. Its latest leadership appointments will help the company advance its pharmaceutical-centric strategy and drive growth for itself and its customers.
