BuildOps, a Santa Monica-based software company, recently secured $127 million in a Series C funding round. Led by Meritech Capital Partners, the round brings BuildOps’ valuation to $1 billion.
The company specializes in AI-powered software solutions for commercial contractors. Its platform connects field technicians in the field, dispatchers and operations managers to reduce time spent on administrative tasks and help contractors perform their jobs more efficiently.
Backed by its new funding, BuildOps plans to invest in expanding its platform. The company will add capabilities including AI-powered scheduling, predictive maintenance and live project tracking. Its goal is to deliver tools to contractors that enable them to run smoother operations and increase their profits.
