The SaaS e-commerce platform known as BigCommerce recently launched its new parent brand, Commerce. Operating under the corporate name Commerce.com, the entity encompasses BigCommerce, Feedonomics and Makeswift. Under its new name, the company plans to focus on an agentic commerce strategy that leverages AI to conduct research, make recommendations and transact on behalf of consumers.

BigCommerce equips merchants with scalable software to help them establish and grow their e-commerce operations. Feedonomics’ offerings optimize products for AI discoverability across global channels, and Makeswift provides digital editing tools that allow teams to collaborate on personalized digital experiences.

Collectively, these solutions serve as an intelligent ecosystem designed to help businesses unlock the full potential of their consumer data and deliver streamlined, personalized experiences at scale. As part of the company’s name change and rebrand, Commerce will trade on the Nasdaq under the ticker symbol CMRC and cease trading under BIGC as of Aug. 1.
