The top funding rounds for March in Austin reached a combined total of $31.54 million. Supply chain startup Overhaul grabbed the top spot with its $17.5 million round. Read on for more details on this month’s biggest Austin VC rounds.

 

#4. $1.04 million, March 26

The esports startup created a space for creators, gamers and fans where they can view or compete in matches. With the new funding, it plans to open a new headquarters and a content creator lab in Austin. The company began in 2017.

 

#3. $3 million, March 26

The company, which splits its headquarters between Austin and El Segundo, California, focuses on situational awareness, using geospatial data from satellites, drones and more. The United States Air Force awarded a $1.5 million grant, and its VC backers matched the investment. With the funds, it’ll develop Slingshot EDGE, a platform used for small unmanned aircraft systems.

 

#2. $10 million, March 20

The startup creates nurse assistant robots for hospitals that can do mundane tasks like delivering samples to labs. DNX Ventures led the Series A round. It plans to use the funds to deploy its primary product, Moxi, in more hospitals.

The supply chain startup tops the list this month with its platform tailored to the pharmaceutical and food industries. Edison Partners led the funding round. It plans to triple its headcount in 2020 in both its Austin and Ireland headquarters.
