Our Media Chaperone team moved into 1871 as part of the beta launch. In our few weeks at 1871, we have seen the vision materialize into daily benefits for our company. Here are a few highlights:
Environment- we love the space, light and energy of 1871 (including Intelligencia coffee!). Those are the soft benefits. The ones we value are the quick sounding boards within 100 ft. During a recent sprint, our team ran into a few speedbumps and Chicago's top iOS/Android developer was a whiteboard away. We valued his inputs so much that we put him to work. Win-win.
Access- on a weekly basis the most connected people in Chicago are in 1871. In one recent week, I met with multiple investors, got an intro to the CEO of a potential partner and ran into a political speechwriter that is including our company in a speech on EdTech.
The vision of 1871 is what attracted us. The day-to-day environment and access is what makes 1871 so valuable for entrepreneurs like us.
