As part of our World Wide Sales Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) group, you and your team will be responsible for implementing strategies, programs, tools, and processes that enable the business to drive sales, improve customer experience, and innovate the way we lead and support one of the largest channel operations in the world.

These solutions are typically new technical capabilities and/or the transformation of business processes to support continuously evolving sales motions, expanding Geo coverage and routes-to-market, and growing complexity of sales plays. As a WW Salesforce Solutions Architect, you will be directly involved in the design and implementation of scalable solutions for our global and regional sales teams.

Key Qualifications

8+ years of experience driving technical Salesforce solutions for large global organizations; Background working with audiences that integrate multiple teams and systems is preferred.

Ability to design and implement an enterprise territory management sharing model on Salesforce.

Understanding of when to leverage Apex code and custom sharing to fulfill record sharing requirements.

Strong understanding of when to use configurations versus customizations; and the various limitations of Salesforce (i.e. governor limits).

Hands-on experience with implementing platform features including profiles, permissions, custom objects and fields, formulas, and flows.

Experience with DevOps tools such as Visual Studio Code and Jira is a plus

One of the following certifications is required: Certified Salesforce Platform App Builder, Certified Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant, Certified Salesforce Advanced Administrator

One or more of the following certifications is a plus: Certified Salesforce Application Architect, Certified System Architect, Certified Data Architect, or Certified Sharing and Visibility Architect

Strong problem solving skills and root cause identification.

Ability to understand strategy and turn it into a roadmap for the future.

Self-motivated and eager to stay up to date with the latest technology trends with the ability to make sound technical decisions.

Innovative mind set and ability to think "out of the box", challenge status-quo, and incorporate industry best practices.

Description

In this role, you will:

- Evaluate and improve the current object and record access security model built on Salesforce; leveraging best practices in sharing rules, territory management, and Apex sharing.

- Design and maintain the internal user and external partner user access and provisioning solution; which involves integrating with Apple's identity provider solution(s).

- Create and maintain technical guidelines for implementing security requirements that can be leveraged across multiple disparate teams.

- Lead the weekly Security Governance Council, and provide recommendations for which technical solutions should be leveraged to fulfill business requirements.

- Ensure that the Salesforce implementation (object schema, configurations, and customizations) can support current business requirements while remaining flexible for the future roadmap (scalable, maintainable).

- Create and manage processes to ensure that best practices are followed in regards to solutions architecture; review and provide feedback to scrum teams with the lens of business outcomes.

- Ensure that the latest Salesforce releases do not conflict with the metadata in the current state implementation of Salesforce.

- Establish and maintain trusted advisor relationships with stakeholders by recommending and engaging on opportunities to improve the technical designs of the platform.

- Execute on a Salesforce technology sustainment model, including the assessment of future requirements on the impact to the existing metadata.

Education & Experience

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.

- Master's Degree preferred.
