Systems Tester
Job Description
ASRC Federal Technical Services is seeking aSystems Testerto join ourteam that supports the Federal Aviation Administration in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. This role will make an impact by meeting the future needs of our FAA customer that includes securing data across networks in theenterprise.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Work collaboratively with a team or as an individual on each assigned project to meet deadlines and deliverables.
- Work well in a dynamic environment where requirements and deadlines evolve during the course of the project.
- Monitor NAS system, software, and FAA procedural requirements when providing STARS deployment support, testing and interface of software and computer system.
- Ascertain STARS/TAMR and Elite system being deployed are supportable, maintainable, and certifiable.
- Respond to field calls and issues, gather facility data, load software, firmware, adaptation and configuration.
- Ascertain user requirements, performs system-wide analysis and functional allocations, exhibits an understanding of the requirements and of the responsive approach to the customer, and satisfies the customer requirements.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Bachelor of Science in ComputerScience or Math, or a Bachelor'sdegree in another technical fieldwith a minimum of thirty (30)semester hours in a combination ofmathematics, statistics, andcomputer science and seven (7)years of related work experience ina computer science or math field
ORMaster's Degree in any field ofstudy with a minimum of thirty
(30) semester hours of eitherundergrad or grad study in acombination of mathematics,statistics, and computer scienceand five (5) years related workexperience in a computer scienceor math field

Work Environment and Physical Demands
- Located at the FAA William J. Hughes Technical Center
- Light travel required
Security
- US Citizenship or documented proof of eligibility to work in the US
- Has been living in the US for at least the past 3 years
- Successful candidate is subject to a background investigation by the government and must be able to meet the requirements to hold a position of public trust
