As a Solution Architect, you will lead our Salesforce implementations within a tightly integrated environment with other applications and major ERPs. You will be responsible for providing technical leadership and guidance to development teams, designing scalable solutions, and ensuring alignment with business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of Salesforce platform architecture, design, and development best practices.

What you will do

  • Follow Stryker's Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) framework and processes.
  • Lead the design and implementation of Salesforce solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and adhere to best practices.
  • Responsible for all architectural design aspects within the Salesforce.com platform area maintaining knowledge of new technologies within the Lead to Order process.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements and solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Architect and design scalable, high-performance Salesforce solutions that leverage the full capabilities of the platform.
  • Conduct code reviews, perform quality assurance checks, and ensure adherence to coding standards.
  • Define and implement integration strategies to connect Salesforce with other systems and applications.
  • Stay updated on Salesforce platform updates, new features, and industry trends to recommend best practices and optimize system performance.
  • Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering their growth and development in Salesforce technologies.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Salesforce solutions.

What you need

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in the areas of Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related fields required.
  • 8+ years of professional experience required.
  • 2+ years of experience in leading resources for projects required.
  • Deep understanding and knowledge of the SFDC architecture and major modules, including configuration, processes, integration including add-on products required.
  • Experience working with executive business stakeholders along with proven experience of global system rollouts - strategy, planning, vendor selection and implementation planning required.
  • Experience with process mapping, documenting complex processes and presenting them in a clear and understandable format is required, including understanding, evaluating and recommending changes to business processes are required.
  • Experience developing strategic business process methodologies to drive business results required.
  • Experience with Oracle CPQ implementation is a plus.
  • Knowledge of and ability to drive IT methodologies such as ITIL, Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile Development is preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of medical devices and/or pharmaceutical industry and basic knowledge of adjacent areas in terms of processes, organization, products and IT requirements preferred.

Travel Percentage: 40%
