About the Role
The Senior Manager of Organizational Change Management (OCM), reporting to the Director of PMO/OCM, will have a crucial responsibility in overseeing and managing all strategic, tactical, and financial aspects of OCM. This role will be accountable for demand and resource capacity planning, OCM methodology, and the development of the team.
The primary focus of the OCM function will be on managing the people side of change, including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles, and organizational structures. As the Manager, you will lead a team of OCM resources who will support the creation and implementation of change management strategies and plans, with the goal of maximizing employee adoption and usage while minimizing resistance across Magna globally.
Your Responsibilities
• Manage all OCM resources (internal & external), including maintaining an overall view of projects/initiatives, prioritizing needs, assigning and tracking resources/availability, and monitoring/measuring impacts of team members.• Initiate performance management, development plans, coaching, and mentoring for team members.• Determine resource needs to support change projects for Magna and continuous improvement initiatives.• Develop and maintain key performance indicators, metrics and reporting on change management and training.• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by recommending best practices and lessons learned.• Oversee a structured methodology and ensure the application of change management processes and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of change• Support the design, development, delivery and management of communications• Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness and identify/access key stakeholders• Provide input, document requirements and support the design and delivery of training programs• Develop and assess measurement systems to track stakeholder adoption and business benefits realization
Who we are looking for
• Minimum 8 years of experience in change management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications or a related field. • Change management certification or designation desired. (ie. Prosci)• Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and best practices.• Experience working in a decentralized environment similar to Magna. • Proven track record of successfully leading and managing complex organizational change initiatives.
Your preferred qualifications
• Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle.• Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts an asset.• Problem solving and root cause identification skills.• Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a collaborative and inclusive approach.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.• Proficient with Microsoft office and other collaboration tools
