Responsibilities:
● Lead and manage a team of data engineers, providing technical guidance and mentorship.
● Build structured processes in the team to help scale by prioritising day-day activities.
● Be an active contributor and play a key role in leading development
● Implement and maintain high security, development and review best practices to abide by all of the company policies and ISO 27001 certification.
● Work collaboratively with the UK team to manage expectations and delivery deadlines as well as identify improvements to briefing and delivery processes.
Must Have:
● Proven experience in Data Engineering.
● Experience with Python, SQL and SQL databases.
● Experience with AWS cloud, ETL, Data Modelling.
● Experience building and optimising data pipelines.
● Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
● Effective communication and leadership abilities.
Nice to Have:
● Understanding of the wider Generative Ai market and developments as they develop to ensure the team are all aware and equipped with the right knowledge to succeed.
● Understanding of data governance and compliance standards.
● Hands-on experience with CI/CD.
● Experience with working on APIs.
● Understanding of known tools like Snowflake and Microsoft Fabric
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
