Utilize your payroll tax knowledge, your analytical skills and your passion for accuracy to provide exceptional service and be a trusted tax resource to our clients. Role & Responsibilities:

  • Process new tax registrations for clients 
  • Process tax checks, electronic deposits and monthly filings
  • Process quarterly and annual payroll tax fillings
  • Communicate with tax agencies to obtain information or resolve tax issues
  • Respond to client payroll tax questions
  • Assist with maintaining taxes in the payroll system
  • Preparing and filing amended tax returns

Requirements

To be a successful team member you should have strong attention to detail, an inquisitive nature and an interest in payroll tax compliance.

  • 5-7 years of experience in payroll tax processing/similar position
  • Robust knowledge of federal and state withholding and unemployment taxes
  • State and local tax registration experience (preferred)
  • Exceptional ability to identify and resolve inaccuracies
  • Ability to manage and prioritize large volume of tasks
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to adapt to quarterly and year end work demands
  • Passionate about providing excellent client service
  • Ability to work with a team and independently
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid computer skills with the ability to quickly learn new systems
