The Role

Description
We are seeking a skilled and highly motivated Sales Operations Manager to join our team. As a Sales Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in assisting our internal 'customers' (Sales, Customer Success, Finance & Accounting) and leading our Sales Operations team. The ideal candidate is collaborative and approachable and able to keep up with the demands of a growing company.
Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead the team responsible for the sales operations policies and process; conduct team performance assessments and evaluation to ensure team is optimized.
  • Provide strong leadership skills to evaluate ongoing sales team performance and provide training and coaching when necessary.
  • Be responsible for the data integrity of Salesforce (managing the bookings process, Order and Contract creation and the accuracy of the downstream data as well as Order Fulfillment)Monitor system adoption, data compliance and governance in addition to performing continuous review of sales policies and processes to drive standardization.
  • Provide first-tier support for any end-user process questions in Salesforce.
  • Liaison effectively with customers and internal team members (including sales, business, legal, management, and technical stakeholders) ensuring all inquiries are followed up on and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities for sales process improvements and develop and implement new strategies.
  • Financial skills and business acumen to understand sales profitability and opportunities.
  • Technology skills to utilize CRM and database software tools in daily tasks.
  • Ensure processing of executed legal agreements, including countersignature, filing, and CRM updates.
  • Ensure completion of any RFP/RFQ/security questionnaires, vendor registrations or other documentation required to progress opportunities.
  • Participate in Deal Desk to provide instruction/feedback to Sales reps and help brainstorm solutions to help progress deal flow.
  • Enter a portion of orders into legacy CRM to facilitate downstream process (on a temporary basis to support transitional period).
  • Effectively carry out management decisions, while reinforcing proper processes, communication skills and prioritization strategies.
  • Assist management in identifying and resolving sales administration and operational problems/bottlenecks and assist in implementation of organizational strategies and best practices.
  • Propose and drive any other initiatives approved by management that contribute to long-term sales operational and organizational excellence.


Requirements

  • 5+ years of full-time work experience in Sales Operations, preferably in the tech industry
  • 3+ years of full-time work experience in a Manager role with direct reports
  • High-level of attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize demands to meet deadlines
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment, with the ability to initiate improvements in processes
  • Strong oral and written English communication skills
  • Able to work remotely and effectively manage time and priorities
