This is an onstte role is based in our Santa Clara, CA Abbott Vascular location.
What You'll Do
The Manager, Global Market Data would work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment as both an individual contributor and part of a highly collaborative team. This position will report into our Global Strategy and Insights Team, and work closely with global product marketing, commercial sales, R&D, finance, clinical, business development, and several cross-functional partners. The position is in Santa Clara, California.
Major Responsibilities
- Reporting performance and share on a timely manner. Ability to synthesize data and create narratives
- Support the marketing organization in defining and implementing appropriate frameworks for measuring, reporting, and analyzing market data.
- Maintain and develop dashboards, dataflows, and reports to provide key information to stakeholders.
- Maintain and innovate market models for current and adjacent business segments to support global marketing organization to drive business and forward planning.
- Design, produce and analyze monthly results reports against operational metrics.
- Define and develop process to monitor company performance relative to history, targets and the competition through internal data sources, industry data and other publicly available data.
- Work collaboratively with leadership team to continually develop metrics and reporting that enable rapid understanding of performance relative to goals.
- Conduct ad hoc analysis to address key business questions; leverage data driven insights to make recommendations for process and workflow improvements.
- Work with franchises and shared services to identify data needs and acquire access to required data.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree plus 4-6 years of related work experience with a complete understanding of specified functional area, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Advanced degree preferred.
Preferred
- MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred
- Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in competitive intelligence, market research, and/or analytics and forecasting within industries such as healthcare, medical devices, or pharmaceuticals
- Experience with previous competitive intelligence role through agency and/or industry experience
- Attention to detail while managing competing priorities, tight time pressures, and project budgets
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and project management skills
- Prior experience as an equity research analyst within the healthcare industry
- Prior experience in leading analytics work with visualization tools (e,g. PowerBI, Tableau) to drive insights and recommendations

$104,300.00 - $208,500.00
