Job Description:

Position Summary:

The Sr. Financial Analyst of FP&A reports to the Finance Manager, FP&A. This position is responsible for supporting consolidated, Corporate management reporting. In addition, this role will partner with the business owners to develop and deliver the annual budget.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Corporate leadership to develop and manage the annual business plan and related forecasts including the timing, requirements and deliverables
  • Collaborate with the Corporate functions and regional finance teams to provide consolidated variance analytics for the business plan, forecasts and actuals
  • Consolidate monthly financial outlooks including risks and opportunities
  • Drive functional reporting for all Corporate functions
  • Support quarter close / year-end close including variance analytics, E&Y audit requests and alignment with earnings presentations
  • Works closely with Division Finance Leadership, and Corporate Finance partners to identify process issues and/or process improvement opportunities
  • May, on occasion, be required to perform duties other than those specified in this description.

Education and Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3-5 years of relevant financial experience in global manufacturing environment with at least 3 years in FP&A (regional/divisional/corporate). Experience in an automotive manufacturing environment is a plus
  • Education: BA/BS in Accounting or Finance is required, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) is preferred
  • Strong written and communication skills with the ability to present highly complex information in a clear, concise manner
  • Act with a bias for action in a dynamic, fast paced environment
  • Able to be flexible and think creatively with the willingness to change, adapt and grow
  • Unquestioned integrity and values that the organization can trust without reservation
  • Advanced computer skills particularly in Excel and PowerPoint as well as experience with HFM and SAP (preferred)

Work Environment/Work Conditions:

  • Professional office environment
  • Temperature and noise may vary depending on external environmental conditions
  • Must be able to travel including international on occasion, as needed
  • Must wear proper personal protection equipment while on manufacturing floor
  • Equipment used requires proper training on the potential for and avoidance of injury
