We seek an experienced Engineering Manager with strong technical and people management skills to lead a high-performance team of 5+ software engineers in developing scalable, high-performance .NET applications, focusing on enhancing functionality, quality, and performance of our globally distributed Messaging platform.

Reporting to the VP of Engineering, this Singapore-based role requires hands-on leadership, deep expertise in .NET Core, REST APIs, multithreading, and proven ability in coaching teams toward engineering excellence. Your previous experience as a developer and architect will be critical in establishing and maintaining high technical standards.

Responsibilities

• Expand our CPaaS Global Messaging platform (SMS, WhatsApp, RCS, Viber, etc.)

• Lead, mentor, and develop a strong software engineering team, promoting collaboration, innovation, and growth.

• Drive delivery of new scalable, resilient, geo-distributed REST APIs and backend services.

• Ensure timely feature delivery aligned with the product roadmap.

• Set and maintain high design and coding standards; actively participate in design and code reviews.

• Engage in architecture discussions and technical direction.

• Manage resource planning and workload balancing.

• Foster a positive, high-performing team culture aligned with company values.

Desired tech skills and experience

• 8+ years in software development building scalable services

• Deep expertise in .NET Core, C#, and multithreading

• Skilled in system architecture, scalable software design

• Knowledge of design patterns, object-oriented programming

• Async processing and caching strategies (distributed, in-memory, etc.)

• Familiarity with RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar

• Proficient in T-SQL

• Agile methodology experience

• Experience with Containers and Kubernetes is advantageous

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field

• Fluent written and verbal English
