We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join our dynamic team at Chyron, a pioneering company in broadcast graphics creation, playout, and real-time data visualization. Reporting directly to the CTO, you will be instrumental in planning and coordinating projects, supervising multiple engineering teams, and developing effective strategies to ensure successful project execution within our innovative environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies for completing projects on time and within budget.
• Propose and manage project budgets, aligning with Chyron's financial goals and operational standards.
• Supervise and oversee the work of multiple engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
• Assess training needs and facilitate talent development to stay ahead in the fast-paced broadcast technology sector.
• Secure upper management support for projects, ensuring alignment with Chyron’s strategic objectives.
• Provide clear and concise instructions to engineering teams, maintaining Chyron’s standard for technical accuracy and quality.
• Coordinate activities with other managers and staff to achieve organizational goals and enhance cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

• Proven work experience as an Engineering Manager or in a similar managerial role, preferably in the technology or broadcast industry.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate information and solve complex problems.
• Excellent communication skills to manage staff and collaborate with other management personnel.
• Detail-oriented approach with an ability to identify minor errors that could lead to major problems.
• Proficiency in advanced mathematics, including calculus.
• Exceptional organizational skills to manage various budgets, employees, and schedules simultaneously.
