The Role
As Level 3/ Escalation Engineer on our Triage team, you will be responsible for supporting our award-winning enterprise monitoring platform, SysTrack. This role requires cleverness, creativity, and familiarity with C++, C#, and SQL.To be successful, you must also be comfortable working in a small, fast-moving, high-performing team where corporate structure is at a minimum and personal responsibility is counted upon.
What You'll Do
The core functions of this role include:
- Debugging others’ code to determine possible issues
- Identifying, recording, documenting thoroughly and tracking cases/bugs
- Liaising with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to determine how changes should be classified
- Developing test applications to help debug software
- Actively managing the caseload given in a timely manner
What You'll Bring to the Team
The key requirements for this role include:
- Experience in live debugging code
- Experience with one or more of the following technologies: C#, C++, JavaScript, SQL, SQLServer, and/or IIS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Software/Engineering or related field
- SQL Server DBA Experience (a plus)
- Programming experience or QA/Technical Support related experience (desirable)
- Experience working with Zendesk (preferred)
- Experience working with Jira (preferred)
Additional Details
- Hybrid with a preference for at least 1 day per week in our London office. The frequency at which the hire will be required to come onsite is based on their proximity to the office
