The digital center of excellence is a functional group within Genentech Business Operations (GBO) comprised of experienced digital experts who partner across CMG to orchestrate and deliver integrated digital customer experiences that drive measurable business outcomes.

Your Opportunity:

The Digital Engagement Lead is a strategic thought partner and functional expert to CMG stakeholders to guide high-impact digital campaigns and customer experiences - for patients, care partners, and healthcare professionals - across channels including media and social, web and mobile, and relationship management.

  • Design integrated cross-channel plans that drive results, enable optimization, and quality delivery of digital campaigns.
  • Partner with CMG partners to understand business goals and provide inputs for resourcing to support delivery against these goals. Ensure dependencies/timelines understood, managed, and communicated to key stakeholders.
  • Orchestrate delivery of customer experiences in partnership with CMG. Leverage expertise to optimize, refine, and enhance these experiences to drive customer satisfaction.
  • Accountable for compliance. Works in alignment with the Promotional Review Committee (PRC) and Healthcare Compliance Office (HCO) systems and policies to ensure development of compliant and effective promotional tactics.
  • Establishes work priorities and timelines, exercises judgment in selecting methods for approaching new projects, and demonstrates influence in aligning CMG partners to meet cross-channel needs.

Who You Are:

  • You have a Bachelor's degree
  • You have a minimum of 8+ years of work experience in a sales & marketing program, project or process management role
  • You have 5+ years of experience in multichannel/digital marketing
  • You have experience in the managed care, pharmaceutical, or biotech industry
  • You have working knowledge of the digital COE marketing technology stack, processes, workflow, and measurement tools

Preferred Qualifications:

  • You have a MBA or other related graduate-level degree
  • You have a PMP certification

Relocation is not available for this role.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of South San Francisco is $144,000 - $267,400. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
