About the Opportunity

DMI, LLC is seeking a Cyber Engineer. This position serves as a subject matter expert on all aspects of cyber engineering and centralized cyber service development participates in cross functional teams as a cyber engineer.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a core contributor on multi-disciplinary project teams (internal staff and contractor staff) to improve the State cybersecurity services/solutions and respective implementation, including requirements

    development.

  • Work with stakeholders to assess legacy systems and identify opportunities for improved cyber security of future systems.
  • Lead technical solutioning to address agency intake requests and operational requirements.
  • Assess solutions for implementation within the State as part of centralized services.

Qualifications

Education and Years of Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity,

    or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are

    preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in cyber security.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex security issues and develop

    effective solutions.

Required and Desired Skills/Certifications:

  • Graduate degree or certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA
  • Experience as a cyber engineer supporting Endpoint Managed Detection and Response (MDR), Firewall, (P)DNS, SSL, CDN, and other core cyber services.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts.
  • Project management skills, with experience in planning, scheduling, and monitoring the delivery of

    cybersecurity services.

Additional Requirements:

  • Specific experience in engineering and implementing cyber solutions.
  • Experience working in cross functional teams as a cyber engineer.
  • Experience leading solution assessment and requirements development and alignment
