Job Description

Advantest America's Inc. is looking for a qualified Cost Accounting Analyst with Month End Closing and Inventory Control experience with major focus on Americas Inventory compliance related processes. This position is available for both San Jose, Ca and Chandler, AZ locations.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for inventory controls management of new acquisitions until ERP migration
  • Financial analysis with focus on Cost of Sales and Inventories
  • Cost of Sales planning budgeting in context of consistent Business Unit controlling and reporting
  • Support of Advantest Americas Operations and Manufacturing organization
  • Improve reporting processes efficiency, transparency, and provide insights to support Managementdecision making
  • Oversee the Cost of Sales related month-end / quarter-end process in accordance with accounting policies (IFRS)
  • Reconcile inventory transactions and ensure process compliance
  • Drive process improvements with positive impact on Gross Margins
  • Responsibility for E O process for several Business Units including preparation of data, coordination of the review process with business partners, as well as review with external auditors
  • Potentially assist in next roadmap steps for upgrading ERP system of most recent acquisitions

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • At least 3 years cost accounting experience
  • Analytical thinker with attention to details and strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team under global environment
  • Oracle ERP experience is a plus - preferably in cost accounting role
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office with advanced skills in Excel
