We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller to join our finance team. The Controller will be a critical member of our leadership team responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls. This leader will play a key role in driving financial strategy and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

You will…

  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards
  • Develop and manage the company's budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic planning and decision-making
  • Monitor cash flow projections and ensure the availability of funds for ongoing operations and capital investments
  • Establish and maintain internal control policies and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, and provide insights to support business decisions
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and coordinate the annual financial audit process
  • Manage tax compliance activities, including preparation and filing of tax returns and coordination with external tax advisors
  • Coordinates the preparation of support for the annual audit and serves as liaison with external auditors
  • Continuously evaluate and improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Lead and develop a team of finance professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship as needed
  • Undertake special projects and initiatives as assigned by senior management

You have…

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred
  • 7-10+ years of progressive experience in accounting and finance roles, with at least 3-5+ years in a managerial capacity
  • Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of GAAP; experience with IFRS is a plus
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting techniques
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and levels of the organization.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
