Job Summary

Work as a Content Editor on the Web Content Team by assisting in the daily execution of a variety of website related tasks for www.AcuityBrands.com and all associated brand sites. Intake and process Workfront requests to help enhance the overall digital experience for our business partners and end users. You will work cross-functionally with the larger Marketing + Digital Marketing departments to deliver consistent on-time results while adhering to the Web Team's best practices and design standards. The ability to think outside the box and to make recommendations for a better experience back to our partners, rather than simply taking dictation and executing as the request stated (when applicable) is a plus.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

  • Build, update and maintain content across all brand sites within our CMS platforms (Sitecore + Ceros). Continuous improvement + training to stay competitive with latest industry trends and best practices.
  • Self-manage Workfront requests (our project intake system) ranging from general site content updates, webpage creation, or other special projects to support the business
  • Participate in daily standups and weekly Content Team meetings to report on project updates - provide transparency into all request statuses

Skills and Minimum Experience Required

  • Minimum 1 to 2 years related professional experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (Marketing or Graphic Design preferred)
  • Sitecore (9.0.2+) or other enterprise-level CMS experience preferred. Web development language (HTML,CSS,JS) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Adobe creative suite - experience with UI/UX web design
  • Experience with project management software/job intake system; Workfront preferred
  • Excellent self-manager. Possess strong communication skills and attention to detail. Able to execute on multiple requests with competing deadlines.
  • Self-motivated in your time management and personal development. Desire to learn/grow professionally within the role and company
  • Flexibility - Able to adapt to changing business priorities and willingness to tackle new challenges presented to the team
  • Up to 25% Domestic travel
