Position Title: Associate Creative

The Role:

We are looking for an Associate Brand Designer to join our in-house design team. Under the guidance of the Associate Creative Director and Brand Designer, you'll oversee the hands-on execution and production of all visual design assets down to every pixel. Collaborating with the EA brand communications, social impact and the creative team, you'll help shape and refine the Electronic Arts brand expression across several platforms and mediums.

You will be based in the bay area and come into the office several times a week.

Responsibilities:

  • You will help create EA brand design work that resonates with our culture and embody our values, ensuring the delivery of pixel-perfect assets.
  • You will contribute to all Electronic Arts brand-related projects across several touchpoints including employee communications and engagement campaigns, global events, workplace design, social media, web presence, merchandise, and more.
  • You will work in a hands-on environment that requires flexibility, imagination, positivity, a sense of fun, and the desire to learn and grow.
  • You have some experience building corporate brand style guidelines.
  • You have a portfolio showcasing brand/motion design work, with an understanding of design principles.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience at a design agency or in-house design team.
  • Excellent hands-on design, typography, and layout skills, with proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma.
  • Be creative and bring a fresh perspective while working within the brand and project parameters.
  • Experience with motion graphics, illustration, image retouching is a huge plus.
  • Work with multiple internal and external partners.
  • You want to adapt, learn and grow as a designer.
  • You love gaming and interactive entertainment, and a deep interest in purpose-driven storytelling, along with an awareness of popular gaming and entertainment brands and trends.

Education

BFA or BS in Graphic Design, Digital Design, Motion Design.

US COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.

Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

BASE SALARY RANGES • California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento):

º $70,700 - $104,600 USD Annually

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to temporary full-time employees scheduled to work full time.
