Role Overview:

As the AI Lead Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in providing technical and people leadership to our AI engineering team. You will be responsible for driving innovation in AI technologies, designing scalable software architectures, and ensuring the successful implementation of AI solutions. Additionally, you will mentor team members, foster a collaborative team culture, and lead by example in promoting best practices in software development and engineering.

Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership:

   - Provide technical guidance and direction to the AI engineering team.

   - Oversee the design, development, and implementation of AI solutions.

   - Drive innovation in AI technologies and methodologies.

People Leadership:

   - Mentor and coach team members to foster their professional growth and development.

   - Cultivate a collaborative and inclusive team culture.

   - Lead by example, promoting best practices in software development and engineering.

Software Architecture:

   - Design scalable and robust software systems for AI applications.

   - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing software infrastructure.

   - Ensure adherence to software architecture principles and best practices.

Project Management:

   - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and priorities.

   - Define project plans, timelines, and deliverables.

   - Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.

Research and Development:

   - Stay updated on the latest advancements in AI technologies and methodologies.

   - Conduct research and experiments to evaluate the feasibility and effectiveness of new AI approaches.

   - Translate research findings into practical solutions and recommendations.

Must Have:

- Proven experience (3 years) in a technical leadership role, preferably in artificial intelligence.

- Strong software architecture skills with experience in designing and architecting complex systems.

- Proficiency in AI technologies such as machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, etc.

- Experience with programming languages such as Python.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice to Have:

- Experience with cloud computing platforms and services.

- Familiarity with big data technologies and frameworks.

- Experience in deploying AI solutions at scale.

- Knowledge of software development methodologies such as Agile or DevOps.

Educational Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
